1Tap is an all-in-one BizTech platform simplifying company formation and compliance for entrepreneurs and SMEs in the UAE. At the startup stage, their MVP faced critical challenges around visual inconsistency, UX fragmentation, and scalability.

We worked closely with a core cross-functional team: the founders, the frontend developers, and a junior design team made up of interns eager to learn and contribute. Rather than isolate design in a silo, we embedded it into the rhythm of the business and worked as part of the team.
Atomic Design System
Design Tokens
Ensure consistency across colours, spacing, typography, radius, etc.
Atoms
Smallest building blocks - eg, Buttons, Input, Checkbox, etc.
Molecules
Groups of atoms working together - eg Cards, Call to Actions, Image block, etc.
Organisms
Complex UI elements like navigation, headers, etc.
Templates
Combined organisms such as login forms and carousels that create an interface design.
Pages
High fidelity combinations of templates and organisms that are eventually used.
Design tokens are the building blocks of a scalable product. They reduce design-developer friction, cut down rework, and ensure brand consistency across screens—saving time, improving speed to market, and making it easier to grow or pivot when needed.
The building blocks
We built a solid base of color, type, spacing, and grids - defined as tokens - for consistency, scalability, and faster handoff across screens and teams. The foundations came together to form the product’s Lego set - a library where each component is designed for consistency, scalability, and faster development.
